MITTŌ emerges from the convergence of two essential concepts: 見 (mi), to observe and contemplate; and 刀 (tō), blade, cut, and decision. And the phonetic duality of “meat” and “myth,” resonating in a single sound. Mitto proposes a different way of understanding meat—treated with intention—where each cut is a precise, almost ritualistic act that honors its origin and its process. That is why we defined “wagyu spot” as our tagline and strategic starting point. Just as the marbling of wagyu determines its texture, character, and exact doneness, we adopted it as the brand’s narrative and visual axis. We abstracted that organic pattern and translated it into our own graphic language, which unfolds in the logo, the illustrations, and every application of the brand identity. Cuts that melt in your mouth.
